Rimmel London have really been killing it recently with they're new releases. In my opinion they've really upped the ante of drugstore make-up this past year. What with the release of they're brilliant Wake-Me Up foundation last year, the amazing and cleverly named Apocolips lip lacquers early this year. Rimmel have really brought they're A game.
Today I'm here to talk about another just as fantastic new-ish release that we've seen come out of Rimmel.
Enter the ScandalEYES Waterproof Kohl Kajal eyeliners (that was a mouthful!) These creamy, glide on easily, intensely pigmented eyeliners rival premium brand such as the Urban decay 24/7 Glide on Pencils, the Stila Kajal Eye Liners and the Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in every aspect. Do not be fooled by they're budget friendly price tag. These babies do not compromise in form at all.
I managed to pick up the two shades pictured above, the nude and the jet black. Please excuse the messy lids, I'm very clumsy it would seem at putting the pencil back in. Anyway back to the shades, the nude is perfect for the waterline as its gives that wide awake, alert look we so desperately seek so early in the morning without looking as harsh or fake as is with a white shade. The Kohl Kajal's creamy texture means you can apply it safely and with ease on your waterline without fear of it dragging.
The jet black is seriously jet black. I know that's just stating the obvious but my God it is seriously pigmented. If you're looking for a smoky eye, then look no further. It's also very long wearing so if you smudge this colour into your top lash its going to stay put. So for anyone with oily lids this is perfect.
Overall I’m incredibly impressed with the scandalEYES eyeliner. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone who'd care to listen, and with these around on the market there's no way I'm heading over to a higher-end brand to try out their Kohl eyeliners.
Rimmel scandalEYES eyeliner retail for £3.99 and are available on Boots and Superdrug nationwide.
